Observations:
1. Exploring the Amazon is more challenging that
in the Pantanal, that is the reason why we have chosen
a longer itinerary.
2. Guest must know that this schedule can be changed
according to the group. Always in accordance to the rules
and regulations of the Lodge and the availability of transport.
3. As all explorers understand we cannot guaranty
that they will see any specific animal or spot for this
depends on the seasons and climatical conditions. |

Day 1 - Guests will be met at Alta Floresta - MT airport
by a hotel representative and transferred by charter plane
to the Thaimaçu Lodge. The remaining of the day we will take
a walking tour through the property, where we will come in
contact with some interesting wild life.
Day 2 - The morning begins with a delicious breakfast.
Following this we will be transported by boat up São Benedito
River until we reach the beautiful Azul River stream. After
exploring the area we will go to the "Ressaca" Trail where
we will be guided through the jungle, walking and observing
birds, monkeys and others species. Different types of monkeys
might be seeing moving in between trees. Lunchtime will be
done at the bank of the astonishing "Água Limpa" (Clear Water
Stream), there we will have the possibility of relax and swim
in an incredible crystal water. Right after this, we will
explorer our way back to the lodge. The rest of the day we
have the possibility to walk through an old airplane landing
strip, which is an open field making it easy to look at the
various hummingbirds and the amazing trees.
Day 3 - First thing in the morning we will be taken
to a trail and walk through the low and high land, until we
reach the amazing giant tree forest called "Bosque de Angelins".
After lunchtime we will go toward a magnificent rapid down
São Benedito River and explore the area. On our way back to
the lodge we will experiment the exciting "rodada fishing"
and with a spotlight we will focus night animals that are
commonly seen on the riverbanks.
Day 4 - This is the day to explore the Cururu River,
a very distinguished region of the Amazon. Leaving early in
the morning to Safari by Land Rover, we will pass through
the low and high woodland. These are unexplored areas, seldom
visited and very hard to find in the Amazon. On the way, we
will pass by a region where there exists a high concentration
of endemic bird species. After a short break we will leave
by boat up Cururu River exploring the untouched place. This
river is quite narrow and it divides itself into smaller rivers,
some of which have crystal waters. Lunch will be served by
the river at the Cururu Camp where guests can also find the
famous black caiman that can measure up to 18 ft. in length.
Returning in the evening will give visitors the opportunity
to do some walking though the road followed by a Land Rover
night trip in search of night animals.
Day 5 -This morning we will go fishing for the giant
catfishes in the picturesque ferry boat near the lodge. This
monster fishes can reach up to 200 pounds and fight for hours.
In the afternoon we will do a Photo-Safari through the road
that goes to town looking for the wild life such as: wild
boars, monkeys, dears and if you are lucky enough a jaguars.
Day 6 - Today is the last day of the trip, so guests
will get a chance to walk around once again through the Lodge
surroundings or just lie down and enjoy the incredible sounds
of the preserved Nature. After lunch we will be transferred
