Paraty,
or Parati is the town that opens itself to you; its own
name explains it. In Portuguese Parati means "for you".
The legends about its origin can prove this.
The waters of the ocean around it are visibly calm, this
helps the local fisherman take advantage of these conditions
to find the traditional "peixe Parati", which is used for
everyday meals.
The "Guaianases" Indian Tribe, were the local inhabitants
of this area and are responsible for the culture trades
left behind, that can still be felt today. The local people
are denominated as "Caiçaras" this name comes from the mixture
of races that happened between the Indians, European colonizers
and the Africans.
Paraty was founded in the XVII century and became a town
in 1660. Considered a national historic patrimony, this
picturesque town is very charming and enchants its visitors
with its harmony and natural beauty. Besides its colonial
architecture, it offers its visitors a submersion into the
Atlantic Forest, ecological visits where tourists will be
able to swim in paradisiacal waterfalls. Experience different
trips that can be made in sailing boats, motorboats and
"Saveiros" (typical Brazilian wooden boats) exploring wonderful
solitary islands and swimming in emerald like waters, walking
through the historical Gold trail.
For those who enjoy observing fauna en flora, the surroundings
of Paraty allows its visitors to see one of the most beautiful
tropical rain forest and ecological ecosystem.
Entering the forest you can set your eye on different types
of mammals such as: "quatis, cotias" and sometimes the shy
"tamanduá-mirim". They will also spot different species

trail we will board locally crafted wooden canoes and paddle
our way through amazing places until we reach the calm waters
of the "Saco do Mamanguá" Bay. Back on the boat we will visit
different beaches and deserted islands and will enjoy a seafood
lunch by the ocean. After lunch guests will be taken back

our break we will continue our tour by car towards Olivier's,
a charming restaurant located in the center of the Serra da
Bocaina National Park. Here we will provide you with towels

experience in itself. You will be served a fusion of French
and Brazilian cuisine in a breath taking natural setting.
